Newsys take daily and monthly backups of customer’s Budget, Shared and Reseller hosting accounts.The terms of our backup policy vary depending on the type of hosting account.We would like to note that these backups are made for server restoration purposes only. However, this is NOT a procedure you should rely on to keep copies of your content safe; we recommend you make your own backups. A “Backup/Restore” feature is included in cPanel with each hosting plan and you can use this tool to back up your files
Backup Policy for Budget Hosting
Budget hosting accounts that are under 2GB and 50,000 inodes are backed up daily for 5 days and available to download in cPanel. Customers can also request to restore their accounts via support ticket.
Backup Policy for Shared Hosting
Shared hosting accounts that are under 5GB and 200,000 inodes are backed up daily for 5 days and available to download in cPanel. Customers can also request to restore their accounts via support ticket.
Backup Policy for Reseller Hosting
We create weekly backups of our reseller hosting accounts. cPanel accounts under Reseller Hosting plans having size more than 5GB or 200,000 inodes are excluded from our weekly backup system. So, Resellers are advised to keep their clients cPanel account size under 5GB or 200,000 inodes.
- Newsys assumes no responsibility for failed backups, lost data, or data integrity.
- Any shared hosting account that uses more than 5GB of disk space or contains more than 200,000 nodes will be removed from our backup. Any user whose hosting account is using more than 5GB of disk space or contains more than 200,000 inodes is solely responsible for maintaining the copy of his/her account.
- Backups may be permanently deleted if you failed to pay your invoice on time or the account is canceled. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to make and keep copies of their data, and Newsys will not attempt to keep data (including backups) of accounts that have been expired or canceled.
- If the hosting service was suspended or canceled, we will attempt to recover the data from the most recent archive for an Rs. 1000 service fee. ie. If you want to migrate your hosting account to another provider, then do it before the due date.
